Jiaxiong Debuts at the 14th Festival Moto Brasil, Advancing Brake System Solutions in Latin America
Rio de Janeiro, 18 October 2026 — The 14th Festival Moto Brasil (2026) was held from 16 to 18 October at the Riocentro Convention & Event Center in Rio de Janeiro. Ruian Jiaxiong Motorcycle & Auto Parts Co., Ltd. exhibited its full range of motorcycle brake pads, brake shoes and hydraulic master cylinders, holding focused discussions with importers, regional distributors and chain repair networks from across Brazil as well as Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
South America's largest market runs on consumables
Brazil is the region's largest producer and consumer of motorcycles, with 100cc–250cc commuter models dominating the market. A large installed base translates into steady replacement demand for wear parts — and brake pads and master cylinders are among the fastest-turning, most repeatable categories within it. This year's edition covered close to 30,000 square metres and drew more than 65,000 professional buyers and riders over three days, making it the largest motorcycle trade event in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Making fitment the first conversation
Jiaxiong organised its display around models actually on Brazilian roads, including:
- Brake pad ranges for Honda CG 160, Biz 125 and XRE 300, and Yamaha Factor 150 and Fazer 250 — the backbone of the commuter segment;
- Semi-metallic and ceramic formulations, asbestos-free, maintaining braking stability in wet conditions while keeping dust and noise low;
- Motorcycle hydraulic master cylinders with matching pistons, oil seals and dust boots;
- ATV/UTV brake pads and master cylinders, addressing Brazil's growing quad and agricultural four-wheeler aftermarket.
The first question from most visitors was not about price but about which bike a given part number fits. The booth therefore paired a model-indexed cross-reference catalogue with sectioned samples, moving discussions from quotation straight into technical confirmation — fitment, friction coefficient class and wear behaviour, all on the table.
What buyers actually ask for
"Buyers in Latin America are shifting their attention from unit price to consistency," said Dai Ruihao, General Manager of Jiaxiong. "Whether friction performance holds steady across batches of the same part number, whether a set stays quiet once installed, whether lead times can cover the pre-rainy-season stock-up — these matter more to a long-term partnership than the number on a quotation sheet. The conversations in Rio confirmed exactly that."
